Book your place on the festive Abigail Jewellery Wax Carving Jewellery Workshop now, and learn to carve your very own ring or necklace pendant design into wax. Your design will be cast in silver off premises, and polished and posted to your door! This workshop is taking place in the Club Room inside the Old Post Office, right at the heart of Overbury Village. Free onsite parking is provided, and the venue is easily accessible by car with close proximity to the M5 and A46. This cosy space is equipped with a log burner and calming festive decor, ensuring you'll come away from the workshop feeling relaxed and rejuvenated having learned a fun new skill! The workshop will run in the afternoon from 12.30-4.30pm, during which time you will learn basic wax carving techniques, sketch out possible designs and finally, create your own wax ring or pendant model using various wax carving tools to be cast in 925 sterling silver. The workshop will be run by myself (Abigail); I'm a jeweller based in Tewkesbury who has been bringing your jewellery ideas and designs to life for almost 10 years. I can't wait to meet you! Light refreshments and hot drinks including a glass of mulled wine & some mince pies will be provided during the session, but please arrive having eaten lunch if possible.
